Can you safespot the Khazard warlord? ›

Magic and Ranged users can safespot the Khazard warlord by moving just out of range behind the small hill. The warlord will stay on the other side, and won't come towards you since you're out of his range. Spells like fire strike can then be used to kill him.

Note: There's a skeleton on the west side of the scaffold you can use as a safe-spot by positioning it between you and Bouncer (see Step 9 image). You can then attack him safely using Ranged or Magic. After you defeat them both, General Khazard (level 112) will appear.

Low level players should strongly consider bringing food and prayer potions if they plan to use melee, and even then may not be able to kill him. He may be safe-spotted with ranging or magic by stepping out of his area boundary, forcing him to flee from the player.

In the Fight Arena quest, a Khazard helmet and Khazard armour can only be found by searching the chest in a building north of the Fight Arena. They both must be worn to enter the Khazard prisons. Unequipping either the helmet or armour inside the jail causes the guards to kick the player out.

Fighting General Khazard is optional; you are given the opportunity to escape from the Arena after killing Bouncer. Should you choose to fight, you'll have to defeat the General twice - after being defeated once, he will double in size and fully restore his life points. Face him if you wish.

The Khazard warlord is the final boss of the Tree Gnome Village quest. Being a melee fighter, the warlord is vulnerable to magic. He is weakest to air spells, so it is advisable to bring an air staff and use the best air spell available (at least Air Blast is recommended).

The player may safespot him behind the crate near the rug merchant (alternatively lure him into the tent to the east of the bandit leader and range/mage over the chairs). The bandit champion will drop an adamant scimitar upon defeat.
