Come Over Here And Kiss Me On My Hot Mouth, continued I'm Feelin' Romantical, is a sound used in video memes on TikTok that originally surfaced from a prison sketch about an intimidating cellmate in the movie A Haunted House 2 played by WWE wrestler Mark Henry. The sound and phrase is predominantly used as the voice of a talking dog known as the Come Over Here And Kiss Me On My Hot Mouth Dog who mouthes the words, similar to the So Wake Me Up Dog. Meme creators used the app Revive to make the still image of the dog say the phrase. Additionally, the dog's real name is Doug from the TikTok account @dougythesheepadoodle. Creators also used the this dog is f*cked up bruh dog and the Alien Cat, among other animals. The meme first surfaced on TikTok in mid-2021.

On March 28th, 2014, the comedy movie A Haunted House 2 was released in American theaters.^[1] During a scene in the film, WWE wrestler Mark Henry plays the role of an intimidating prison inmate who approaches his cellmate from behind and says, "You need to hang up that computer call and come over here and kiss me on my hot mouth. I'm feelin' romantical" (YouTube^[2] upload shown below, left). On July 20th, 2021, YouTuber^[3] @reddogsc8203 posted the clip on its own, gaining roughly 194,000 views and 9,800 likes in a year and a half (shown below, right).

On July 7th, 2021, TikToker^[4] wildfireoil posted a video that used the aforementioned scene with a text overlay reading, "Working from home and the hubby walks in," gaining roughly 6.5 million plays and 681,700 likes in a year and a half (shown below). The video is the first known meme to use the scene.

On March 15th, 2022, TikToker^[5] 420_dom_69 posted the scene as a video, gaining roughly 213,700 plays and 13,800 likes in nine months. On March 29th, 2022, TikToker^[6] ray_memes25 posted the scene using stylized captions, gaining roughly 9.4 million plays and 1.7 million likes in nine months (shown below, left). Due to the virality of ray_memes25's video, TikTokers started using the sound for their own videos, predominantly using it to narrate their iMessage and Tinder message screenshots. For instance, on May 16th, 2022, TikToker^[7] yungcheckerboard was the first to do so, gaining roughly 3.6 million plays and 414,00 likes in seven months (shown below, right).

In mid-October 2022, TikToker^[8] peanut_2323 posted a video of her dog singing Avicii's "Wake Me Up" using the Revive app to make the still image sing (shown below, left). TikToker peanut_2323's video ultimately led to the So Wake Me Up Dog trend that inserted the video into multiple CapCut video templates and inspired a TikTok cult. Due to the trend, on November 28th, 2022, TikToker^[9] f*ckiie posted a video that used the Revive app on a different dog and made him mouth "Come over here and kiss me on my hot mouth." Over the course of 22 days, the video received roughly 3.8 million plays and 616,500 likes (shown below, right).

Additionally, the dog used in the "Come over here and kiss me on my hot mouth" video is named Doug, who is the centerpiece of the TikTok^[10] account dougythesheepadoodle. The original image of Doug used in the "Come Over Here And Kiss Me On My Hot Mouth" video was uploaded by TikToker^[11] dougythesheepadoodle on September 24th, 2021, gaining roughly 735,000 plays and 74,100 likes in 15 months (shown below).

Further Spread

Following TikToker^[9] f*ckiie's video, multiple iterations surfaced thereafter that used Doug mouthing the words in multiple CapCut templates. For instance, on December 4th, 2022, TikToker^[12] spisylasanya used the '2019 2020 2021 2022' CapCut template and four Revive app creations with the sound, gaining roughly 808,300 plays and 171,900 likes in 16 days (shown below, left). On December 11th, 2022, TikToker^[13] yunggoldslugger inserted the dog into the "yeah I'd like to solve the puzzle" meme, gaining roughly 501,800 likes in nine days (shown below, right).

The trend spread to YouTube^[14] going into the remainder of December 2022.
